Trust me you will be kicking yourself later on in your life if you don't get grandma to give you a written version. That is a part of your family history that you can pass down to your children as well.

We are having the quick and easy coconut cream pie tonight. Real hand whipped cream on top and using a chocolate crust. I'm drooling already.

This is a first time using the chocolate crust. I love almond joys so this is just a larger version...

My mother just went out of town and left me ready made dough... needs to be used up soon.... (pizza dough not pie dough).... this weekend is looking like a pizza PIE of sorts.... but I am thinking it might bee deep dish... anyone have any creative ideas? Kid Friendly (DIVA Friendly)

Well you can write it down, but you still have to know what you're doing! The meringue on her pies is just beautiful.

Once you have it written down you can either practice making it or find somebody else to make them for you. Meringue is an aquired craft but doable guys.

When I was younger we used to go into the woods and pick blueberries when we went north to our cabin. Then we would go back and my mom would make a blueberry pie. Nothing better than a fresh blueberry pie with REAL wild blueberries.
