Post Need a good teriyaki recipe

I am looking for a good homemade teriyaki recipe that contains ginger root and is thick in texture. Does anyone have one that they can share?

Ingredients:
  • 2 pounds boneless round steak
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1 large clove garlic, crushed
Preparation:

Cut the round steak into serving size pieces and pound to 1/8-inch thickness. Combine the remaining sauce ingredients in a small bowl. Place the round steak in the slow cooker or crockpot and pour sauce over it all. cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours. Serve with rice.
Serves 6 to 8.
