Default Unbaked fudge brownies

When I was a teenager, my good friend's mother used to make the best brownie cookies. I think they were unbaked and contained rolled oats and raisins. They were really chocolatey and light, and more like candy than cake. She made them separate like cookies, rather than cut out from a sheet like regular brownies.

She told me that she had gotten the recipe in Germany. Unfortunately, I never thought to get the recipe from her, and have now lost touch with the family.

I would love to make these fudge brownies, but have no idea how they're made or even what they're called. Is anyone familiar with these brownies? If so, would you please share the recipe?

Thanks.

Are you possibly looking for cow patties or no bake cookies?

Those look like the same cookies, except hers never had any peanuts/peanut butter in them. Do you know whether the recipe works if you substitute raisins for the peanut butter?

There are all kinds of versions of no bakes out there. Here's another that has raisins in it. Almost all of them have peanut butter as it helps hold the cookies together but you really don't taste the peanut butter.
