I think the Hickory Farms product only has celery, carrots and onions. But it sure is good and I also would love the copycat recipe. Uncle Phaedrus the recipe finder might be able to find something if you go to his site. He sure finds a lot of obscure recipes.

I like NJMemories' but I also found this one on Yahoo......using dried soup.

2 packets of Knorr's Vegetable Soup (its dried soup)
16 oz sour cream
add packets of dried soup to 16 oz sour cream and mix well
let chill for at least 2 hours before serving!!

At first I thought oh no.....dried soup....but remembered I love the simple Lipton onion soup dip. I think letting it reconstitute and mellow in the fridge would be important.
