There is a current Groupon deal for a few cookbooks from the 100 Everyday Recipes series. Here is the URL:

100 Recipes 15-Book Bundle Deal of the Day | Groupon

I am considering getting it but ill be honest; I don't know much about the series. Are they reputable?

Thanks.

I don't know about this series I use to be a cookbook collector now I just find recipes online or through friends. Those books can get out of control for space quite quickly and I hardly ever used more than 1-10 recipes from any one cookbook.

Boy I wish I had the money back now I spent on all the cookbooks.

eBay! Best way to re-coup your investment. Surprising what folks will pay for even used books there.

Now why didn't I post this last July when we had our farm sale? Most of them are gone now I still have about 25 I kept that I used a lot but thinking about getting rid of those now.

I currently have the money for them. Some of those books do have good reviews on Amazon, so it doesn't look too bad.

If you have the space, go for it. They look interesting and cover a wide array of styles.

The list price is only $90 for the set. That's $6 each. Sounds more like a magazine than a book. I wouldn't do it.

Do you really want to pay for a cookbook entirely devoted to coffee? Or chocolate? Or student recipes (I can figure out what to do with Ramen noodles myself, thank you.)

If I wanted cookbooks (I sold all mine last year when we moved, as I use the internet for recipes now), I'd get 2-3 of the very good ones, that applied specifically to what I was interested in learning. Then, I'd try to get them used.

Everyone needs to start somewhere, I say if you rather do it this way and have the space, go for it. In the other thread there were excellent suggestions, but sometimes the ease of getting so many at one time in one neat bundle is worth it to someone. Let us know if you do order it and how it was.

I would not buy them. I have a ton of cookbooks I have collected over the years, but I have chosen each one carefully because I thought I would use them. If I were you I would buy a few basic cookbooks and enjoy the hunt for more, one by one.
