OK folks this is a safe food if you bake them eat one or two then have plenty of folks around to eat the rest. Or if you look at it like we all have to die from something I think I will die from eating foods I really enjoy.

I'm with you! By the way, the few that survived until today were just as good, if not better, than yesterday. I would not hesitate to bake these a day ahead of time for a brunch or ahead of time and freeze.

Have a batch in the oven right now. Added too many pecans, so there was plenty of batter left over for licking....yum. I almost didn't want to put them in the oven!

Oh yeah, these so rock. I made them for tomorrow. Jaxson, I think you are going to have to be deified.

Don't think we need to go that high. But you can call me Queenie. Please no pictures, no pictures.

Somehow I missed this post earlier. The recipe sounds very good. Thank you for posting.

I am so disappointed. Reading this thread, I kept thinkng, hmmmm...I have all of the ingredients in my pantry. After seeing the pix I thought, hmmmm... how nice for my kids to wake up to a nice warm pan of these muffins...... salivating, I went to the pantry and only to find that the pecans have disappeared. Will have to make a run to the store.

Thanks for what looks like a simple, delish recipe and to Smokey for the pix!

LOL, I am glad that you explained yourself a bit further......I was thinking, 'sheesh, these have to be eaten right away or else we are going to break our teeth off!'

Ok all you twisted my arm. I bought a mini muffin pan and all the ingredients yesterday. Maybe I should invite the kids over for a brunch so they can help me pig out, lol.
