I agree with the above post, fajitas would be great.

I was astounded at the number of people suggesting pasta & potatoes...

Before y'all get your panties in a wad; the OP did say that she doesn't know how to cook pasta dishes. I suggested that she follow the directions on the box of spaghetti noodles and prepare those. Perhaps it is just me, and my cooking is more complicated than others; but cooking a pot of spaghetti noodles does not equal cooking a pasta dish such as spaghetti carbonara or my shrimp paesano (shrimp in a lemon sauce on angel hair). I mean, I suggested browning ground beef, mixing with jars of pasta sauce and then a pot of plain spaghetti noodles. Hello, we aren't talking a Food Network Breakthrough episode. That seems quite a bit easier than some dishes, and quite filling, for guys in their 20's. ::shrugs::

I didnt write my post very well.. What I meant to say was, my bf's nephew doesnt like pasta or mashed potatoes.. (Otherwise I would of made a lasange or shepards pie, kept it simple lol!) As for the onions, well my bf doesnt like onions and neither of them like fish.. But thanks to all for the suggestions they were good and gave me some inspiration!

In the end i made pork with a bbq glaze, my own seasoned potatoes wedges and some fresh salad from garden! Went down well.. So i guess tasted ok result!
