There IS one place in town here where you can get them but no one calls them
"Phillys".

Well now, aren't you Miss Fancypants with your Velveeta. I myself prefer 3 slices of neon orange Kraft "cheese" slices, sandwiched between two buttered slices of white Wonderbread, then grilled. Eaten by dipping into hot Campbell's condensed tomato soup.

So wrong...yet so right

Agreed, with a slice of raw onion! Truly hard to beat in my opinion.

Burger (a good one)

I did love that Monte Cristo Bennigan's had, though.

I sometimes go out of my way to find a decent Gyro/Shawarma. I absolutely love good tzatziki.

If you can get a decent cheese steak sandwich west of the Mississippi, you couldn't prove it by me. Most of the offerings I have tried have been disgusting. They don't even bother to be an imitation.

I have had a couple decent Reubens there on the West Coast, but they are rare. To compensate, you can get a decent toasted sliced bagel with cream cheese and smoked Pacific salmon that makes lox look stupid.
