Default The lowly sandwich

So, I always have a hard time coming up with good lunch ideas.
Has anyone had a good and different sandwich at a restaurant, or come up with a good sandwich?

I recently had a Turkey GLT wrap...turkey, guacamole, red pepper spread, pico, cheese and lettuce. Totally awesome.

Crisp bacon, avocado, and dark green leaves (baby spinach, arugula, etc)

Roast beef with horseradish mayo, red onion, lettuce and tomato

Ham & swiss with sweet-hot mustard, lettuce, tomato

Any leftover chinese food or stir-fry in a soft tortilla and topped with shredded cabbage. Add hot mustard, plum or hoisin sauce as a condiment if desired.

Don't laugh, but I do enjoy a simple green olive and mayo on homemade sourdough bread. I also like a banana and mayo on bread.

Talking Tuna

Toast some nice sturdy sliced bread, make solid white tuna salad with dice onions and celery and plenty of mayo. Put a healthy amount on the toast. Cover the tuna with sliced red onion, not too thick and a nice thick slice or slices of tomato. Now this is the kicker. Wrap it aluminum foil, take it to work and leave it in the fridge for a couple of days. If it's still there when you get back to it you'll have the tastiest tuna sandwich ever. Follow up with a nice juicy navel orange.

Annie, If you're out there this ones for you!
