I try to cook up a storm and try new recipes as much as I can. Between the books you can buy at Barnes & Nobles, etc. These are some of my favorite sites. They've got pretty much everything you can think of (including videos). Anyone have a favorite site to add?

Cooking For Engineers - Step by Step Recipes and Food for the Analytically Minded
My favorite site! This was the first site that got me into cooking because it was sort of a "cooking for dummies" basic course!

Harvest Eating: Seasonal Cooking Recipes, Local & Organic Food
Well known cook with some really great dishes. I love the beef bourgignon most!

All recipes – complete resource for recipes and cooking tips
Really nice searchable database of anything you want to make.

Food Network - Easy Recipes, Healthy Eating Ideas and Chef Recipe Videos : Food Network
You've seen the shows.

Default Food blogs?

There seems to be so many Food Blogs on the internet. It's almost like a new form of literature, but with recipes. They give you a peak at the life of the blogger and usually have terrific photos of a recipe in progress.

Some of my favorites: Smitten Kitchen, Pioneer Woman Cooks, Poor Man's feast and Steamy Kitchen. (Just google, if you are curious.)

Do you have any favorite food blogs?

I also enjoy Closet Cooking, Mommy RD, and Noble Pig. There are tons and I could spend all day looking at them.

The Pioneer Woman is my favorite, but I also like TasteSpotting | a community driven visual potluck. It pulls food pics from all kinds of websites and if you see one that looks interesting just click it and you go to the blog, recipe site, news page, or whatever posted the pic.

Wow! Lots of new blogs to follow. I took a peak at all the (new to me) food blogs and they all look great. To my surprise, even Gina's Skinny Weight Watcher recipes looks good--probably will actually use some of these. I think I like Gina's Dec. 16th recipe the best, although I won't try that one.
