I haven't made this in years, but I have made it with yellow, pink and lime ades......always with a graham crust, always with a can of sweetened condensed milk....one would think it is not going to be rich because of the Cool Whip, but the can of milk makes it rich, rich, rich.....

This pie was invented for convenience, so they probably did away with the fresh-squeezed juice part of the recipe.....just took too much effort.....

Yes, you must. Really. You've GOT to.
The pie is sitting in my freezer. It's 3.40pm. Guests are arriving at 6.30pm. What are the chances of the pie still being there?

Hint: I just took the dog for a walk and it's REALLY hot out.

Ya think I could be there before the planned guests? I need a taste test. You know....just to make sure it's ok to serve....

Funniest thing ever -- I was in my kitchen, preparing the asparagus, when I heard someone in the house. Kind of like keys jangling. My husband had just phoned, so I knew it wasn't him yet. Artie was running around, like "Who's here? WHO IS HERE???" running to the front door and back again, over and over. I even went to the door to see what was going on. I mean, I told you it was unlocked!
