You like a guy who happens to be a comedian and he makes jokes about sounding like a mental patient, etc ( you know people with mental disorders in mental instution). This may not be a big deal to some people, but Im just asking. Would you date a guy who does this?
Well it depends, do you take him making fun of mental patients funny and lighthearted, just for a laugh ...... or do you find it demeaning and careless thing to say towards another. Its all about how you perceive it.
I'm guessing he didn't actually use the word "mental patient" but as a guy we throw that word around a lot cuz its funny. And as a comedian he has to push what is socially acceptable in order to get shock value, so you might bring it up casually and see if he did it for the gig or if he really uses the expression regularly.

Actually he did say "mental patient" when I saw him perform.
Well, thats not so bad. I watch a lot of stand up and sometimes they will really push it to get a reaction. I cant think of the actor but he is the kid in Grandma's Boy.......anyways he has a whole scit about how he shouldn't say it and blah blah blah and he just keeps repeating it over and over again. I thought it was funny but im just a guy.
If he said it during his performance not a big deal. It's an act, he is supposed to be funny, some jokes are funnier than others.
If you are walking through the mall and he sees a handicapped person and starts making fun of them then thats another story!
