Fear of being alone? I don't fear being a lone, so I don't even know understand the point of a relationship.
The main point of a relationship is companionship not being together for a lifetime no matter what.
Most people do not go into relationships with the goal of is lasting forever but for the happiness, fun and companionship that come with it. As long as you got that, in my opinion, the relationship did not fail. All things have a beginning, middle and end. Nothing lasts forever.

Good point. Life has no guarantees. The sooner you learn that, the sooner you can start being realistic about your expectations and start making positive changes in your life.
