I think many people get frustrated because no matter how many times women say they do not expect these things, do not want these things, or have not received these things, they are ignored. No matter what we say, we are regarded as spoiled, self-indulgent, entitled princesses. That's what's frustrating.

Hugs and cake for you! Well, maybe not hugs. I just got back from my run. I'll try not to sweat on your cake.

Good grief, really? Is it that high? I'd have no clue but do you have a reliable source for that info?

It's not on the scale of abortion, but the point is that they CAN'T have an abortion. To condemn women for having abortions, as if men are so pious for not doing it when they CAN'T, is illogical.

Secondly, I would question the woman's judgment in why she slept with a man who could abandon her child. I mean, it's not that hard to find a decent guy, it's just, you women like sleeping with the guys who have a reputation like Don Juan.
Woman sleeps with man, finds out she's pregnant, he bolts - in that order. They often don't find out about his ability/proclivity to bolt until he actually gets the news.

PTC? But my dad left me and I made out just fine. But say if my mom killed me I would never even had the chance to live. Regardless BOTH parents need to be in the picture (you know this already).

But my point is, for the most part, a man who would most likely skip town is a dude who could not pay his bills, did not hold down a steady job, ran away from a challenge, and things like that. Women see red flags like this AND STILL sleep with the guy because he's cute or has the newest car.

So at the end of the day, who is responsible for enabling this behavior.......um...let me see

Yes you're right. You're soooo right.

BTW, much love to the prostitutes, they're the most honest women walking the earth. Seriously.

The average age a streetwalker begins hooking is 12 to 14, and they are mostly runaways and abused girls kicked out of their homes.

You're talking about streetwalkers which I don't advocate that ANY man sleep with. I'm talking about grown women who decide to work for high end escort services or flat out brothels (XXX.bunnyranch.com). And just to let you know, some school teachers and other "professional" women do this on the side. They call them weekend warriors.....lol

And I totally understand why regular women don't like strippers/prostitutes. You don't like them because they lower the market value for sex.

It's not because they can't do it, they CHOOSE not to. How many men do you see lining up to work at a daycare center?

Someone mentioned that men can abandon their children. That's bad, yes it is. But still, the government can look for them and take their money to send it all to the mother and then put him in jail. I am totally fine with that. A man should provide to his son. But I am not done here...sure, a man should provide to his son NOT HIS EX. But many women take advantage of the system and ask for ridiculous amounts of money that the guy should hand her every month for 18 years.

See, I agree that men that don't provide should be sent to jail but how about sending to jail those mothers who don't spend the money on the child and spend the money on themselves instead?

The thing is that the government doesn't check women as much as they check men. Do we hear of men that are sent to jail for not providing? Of course and I AGREE! Do you hear of women who are sent to jail for not spending the money 100% on the child?

Just a side note...that last paragraph I wrote is once again in support of BOTH GENDERS, yet, you'll see how I will still be seen as a villain .
Not surprised that this came up, but consider this.

He cannot give money to a newborn or a two year old to go shop for what he/she needs. And child support is not intended to go straight to the kids so they can spend it on themselves. It is also not intended to go 100% to the kids. It covers a portion of shelter, food, utilites, clothing; all that it takes to raise a child. And it doesn't even amount to half in many cases.

What women ask for is not a guarantee that they will get it. The fact of the matter is that you have to provide for your child, and if you make $10 million a year, you are expected to provide for your child in the same manner that you are accustomed to living. Does anyone NEED $20,000 a month in child support? No. But damned it be if you're going to live in a million dollar home, drive a Bentley, dress in Armani and give your kid $400 a month. And it's a package deal, mom comes along with it.

I don't agree with spending it on drugs, alcohol or anything like that. Outside of that, what she does with the money is not dad's place to dictate. As long as the child's needs are being met, his job is done. How are you going to prove that she spent those particular dollars on herself? If you handed her $100, for example, and she went straight to the salon with it, the money for your portion of the shelter, clothing, food, etc., would have to come out of her pocket.

It is such a tired argument. So many of these men resent giving money to the ex. Mind you the ex also has expenses that exceed that portion of shelter, food, etc., that these men give in many cases. I have heard so many cases of men suing for custody just so they won't have to pay child support. It's so low rent. I don't get the nickel and diming when it comes to your child.

My ex gave me $218 a month for 14 years, lied about his income, bragged about paying child support and acted like he was doing me a favor. I told him I was going to stand out by a major highway with a sign that says "I fed my son today." See how many pats on the back I'd get.

It'd be cheaper for men to visit the Bunny Ranch in Nevada than to waste time with women on a site such as this. At least with those women (Bunny Ranchers), you know straight up how it is.
