Your son must have a great personality and sense of humor. And they think we parents embarrass our kids

Gratitude.

I sometimes think we get so busy with day to day stuff that we don't always appreciate things. I know I have a tendency to be a little more negative than I want to be. Complain a little too much sometimes. I don't think that I appreciate the things in my life aka blessings.

I've got many many things to be thankful for, too much to list here.

I read posts like this and I'm reminded of all of the things I have to be grateful for.

This is it.

That's right Chow - you best be thankful and kiss Mrs Chow's rear end as often as possible in gratitude...you don't know how good you got it.

Holy Smokes! How many reps do you have to spread around before you can give a rep to someone you have already? I feel like I just gave out 20 and I still can't rep the person I want to.

You might have to give out another 30 or so.

He has a great sense of humor (if a tad warped), and I'm just as responsible for that as his father.

Well we spent the ENTIRE day car shopping. My nearly 12-year old Outback is fading fast, and I am tired of getting in the car each morning wondering if it's going to get me to work without another repair. I swear I love Outbacks, and had planned to get another new one when the time came. But this summer the $$ have been flying out my *** for the new A/C, car repairs, hospital and dr. bills....I'm frickin' tapped out. Soooo...I've made the decision to go with a used car. It will be my first. I sure hope I don't regret it.

I've always bought used vehicles. Just about all mine are lifted 4x4.

1988 Chev S10 4.3l V-6 pu
1994 Ford F150 supercab 5.8l pu
1996 Chev Silverado 5.7l pu
1978 Chev Suburban 5.7l
1989 Jeep Cherokee 4.0l straight 6
1966 Corvette Stingray 427- i'm working on it

Sometimes i've had a few minor problems i've had to repair, but i bought these vehicles at Great prices. I've bought most of mine from Craigslist.

Best of Luck on your choice Chessie.

Well, I actually did buy a used car last year, for my son to drive. But I bought that from my boyfriend so I had a bit more confidence in it. I adore Toyota Tacomas - the TRDs - lifted or not. But even the ones that are a couple of years old are just too pricey. My boyfriend always buys used - but he's a car guy and can repair his own cars. It's kinda different when you're a gal that who's car repair expertise is limited to changing tires and the oil. Ah well...thanks. Hopefully it will be a good decision.
