What are you guys talking about in this "taking the initiative" thing that's so much work? We're talking about striking up a conversation with a woman you like at your friend's cookout, not going on a years-long quest through foreign lands to bring back a flower that grows only on the leeward side of the mountain.
And the exhaustive "planning"?
Q: I thought we might go to Viva Los Tacos Gigantes for dinner.
A: Sounds great!
I don't find any one of them more special than the other though. Some of them may already be in a relationship. But the one who takes the time to approach me and show her interest is worth getting to know. So I'll let her pursue me.
As I've said before, it gets me dates, so I'm more than happy to do it my way. They may be few and far between, but they're worth it.
I don't have a specific "type"--many women are equally appealing, you're all about a 7 to me. So it comes down to PERSONALITY--the kind that doesn't find a problem with being warm and approaching someone that you're interested in.
Yes, that is what a lot of women (not all, so don't dodge my point) expect. Us men have to take the initiative. And what's wrong with that? Let's remember our balls, go up there and get what we will get.
Trust me, there will be no's and some of them will be nasty. But don't put so much pressure on yourself.
Just go up, have fun and maybe your rejection rate will drop.
I usually don't have to. I will if I need to though. I'm tired of BS games and will rot before I play anymore!
Only ambitious men appreciate a challenge. I'd rather have something I KNOW I can do rather easily.
Thanks for sharing , that's insightful. I think I'm finally starting to understand why you think the way you do, including your comment that all women are the same to you and interchangeable. It explains a lot.
Have you ever wanted anything really bad and worked hard for it? Or has everything in your life been handed to you? What would you say is your greatest accomplishment?

Be careful, TJenkins602. After making a similar comment I was warned that some men are prone to violence if you mention the size of their testicles.
I guess you could say that some men are testy about the subject. Testy... get it?
Ha, ha... I crack myself up!
