Married couple with children calling 18 year old girls "hookers" (wife, women)

This stunned me but a "friend" and his wife are both 48 years old thought they were funny to be calling 18 year old girls hookers. I didn't care for the young girls dress either, but, thought the adult couple had no reason to be doing this especially that the male part of the couple has 17 and 15 year old sons. The female part of the relationship is quite a church goer so this seems strange as well. This isn't the first time I have noticed this "hooker" talk This just kind of weirds me out. Am I just being to sensitive or what Please talk to me. Thanks.

Eighteen is legally an adult - fair game. A lot of older people are pretty disgusted with how some girls look and act now. And often with their parents who raised their kids to think it's fine. I don't care, I'll call them as I see them. Miley Cyrus looked very much like a hooker at that awards show she just hosted and she is 17.

At first glance I think you might be taking this too seriously but of course I don't know the exact circumstances. Young girls can dress very provocatively even though they're obviously not hookers, they're just trying to look cool and fit in. When I lived a couple of blocks from a high school in the Phoenix area I saw many young women who would wear some very revealing clothing which often included several inches of exposed panties with a lot of skin. This is just a phase that young people go through and I see nothing wrong with it. I suspect that your 48 year old friends were just commenting on the fashions of young girls and I doubt that it's anything to be concerned about.

Typical put-down talk meant to degrade. Usually it comes from someone who is either jealous, someone who thinks they or their son's (in this case) are better than, more moral or not as trashy as someone else.

Without knowing this couple in particular, it doesn't necessarily say anything about them (or the wife in this case).

I don't think they mean the girls are literally hookers if thats the concern, the term I absolutely cringe at is "skank", to me it suggests a womens attire implies she has sex in exchange for a hit off the crack pipe.
