What did you do today that made you happy?

I played with kitty. I sat on the porch and watched a thunderstorm move in. Spoke with nephew and sister on the phone. Later, I drove to the local tavern, restaurant and enjoyed a beer and some seafood while watching hockey on the big screen. When I came home, I hit the chocolate stash. It was a great day.

Today I did many things that made me happy...

I assisted my client in pushing through a Restraining order on her abuser..as he stood there menacingly staring in her direction and yelling like a fool in court..
My client stood there poised and quiet with her held high and focused just like we did when we role played...such a great feeling when justice is served

I put some peanut butter on pinecones, & hung them from tree branch's, for the chipmunks, grey squirrels & birdies...

I just bought some French bread today, and that's not good. I have a very hard time quitting once I start eating it.

What did and didn't make me happy, is I went shopping at half a dozen different stores today , but I'm happy that it's done and that I bought all kinds of stuff I've been meaning to get for a looooong time. Didn't spend too much, either.
