How about I set the facts straight? I didn't know she had a boyfriend when we agreed to meet up to study/chill. I'm not gonna cancel a plan just because of that fact. And you know what, I'd actually like to diversify my set of friends beyond the five people I know from high school, so while it certainly isn't an ideal outcome, I'm not gonna suddenly start ignoring her.
Aaww I made it a point not to study with males while in college. If I did, I made the rules: no chit-chat, no copying and no being unprepared. Only one guy put up with that and he knew I was married.
Got some homework done by working with this really cool girl on it.
Sadly, she has a boyfriend and in fact even showed me his Facebook profile like some sort of prize (he sounds like a cool guy so I can't blame her for being proud or whatever). I ought to win an Oscar for acting super interested when really I wanted nothing more than to chain smoke a pack.
Well, at least she really does have a boyfriend lol. That's better than one of those things where "I have a boyfriend" is French for "I'm not interested".
