I'm going to the music store later and this weekend I'm playing paintball in the desert again with some new(ish) people at a totally new location- a washed-out arroyo. SWEET.
I had four feline friends, now just two...genghis & bigfeets.
Thanks! We fostered 3 tiny ones last year and I just fell in love with them. We socialize them and get them healthy enough so they can be spay/neutered around 12 weeks of age and then they go up for adoption.
My kids loved the experience and are dying to get these kittens. We had to take a break because we got a new puppy right after the last litter left, and he needed some adjustment and training first.
No kitties today though. They got sick and need to stay put for the next day or so. Moving them to a new environment would just stress them and make it worse. Soooo fragile at this age though.
This is a pic of the last litter we had. From left to right is Mo, WAll-E and Eve (after the WAll-E characters). To give some reference as to their size, Mo (the smallest one on the left) would hide in my size 7 sneaker and fit all the way inside which made it hard to find him one day!
Potentially saved a coworker's life this morning. By potentially I mean if I didn't pull him away, bad injuries would have happened, and possible death.
Re-stacking a 2500lb bale of cans this morning and almost had it half finished when a coworker decided to grab a block of cans(about 25-50lbs each) from the bottom row, not thinking about the blocks that were still stacked above it. Right when he grabbed the block I noticed the stacks above his head were jarring loose. He was very lucky as I was the only guy close enough to pick him up and throw him away from the collapsing blocks.
Only thing that sucks is, while he's fine, a few blocks fell on top of my left boot. Now I'm limping around.
Wow! How is that foot feelin? I hope a little better.
My computer was restarting whenever I would click on shut down, so I started tinkering with it. I right-clicked on the desktop and went to Personalize. From there I went on to click on several other options and ended up by changing its appearance back to Vista Basics and changing the border from black to something else. Weirdly enough the border was actually white and it now looks black. Now it looks better.
