I can't stand making bacon, don't like the splatters at all...considering I can't even eat it I'm not sure why I continue to suffer through it!

Frying it is not the best way to make bacon

Grilling or baking it is far better. Keeps the strips straight with no curls.

God I love bacon.

My son did that. We have a flat cooktop and I said "don't touch that, it's hot"...and what does he do??? Just like a man, has to figure it out for himself. His hand was black and he wound up with blisters all over his palm.

Bacon is food of the gods. I'm pro-baking. Not messy and they turn into perfect little crispy morsels of goodness... I'm hungry.

Yup! I did the same thing! Except no one told me about it and I just stuck my hand on the stove. I cried since my hand stuck to it for a few seconds and my dad pulled my hand of it. I couldn't grab anything for like a week afterwards!

Have you ever heard of a website called epicmealtime.com? If not, can I introduce you to it and take your eye virginity?

I haven't eaten bacon in about 8 years. At times i do use it in a crawdad trap as bait, though.

I put the crawdads in my basspond to keep the population thriving.

You're a dirty heathen.

Bacon is the nectar of the Gods.

It's all those names of foods Gods eat. Jello or something.

You should go back to the nectar.

For the most part nowadays i try to eat healthier then we did before. Eat quite a bit of chicken & turkey instead of meat. I still eat my cheeseburgers though.

It's funny how you put chicken and turkey in there own little category that isn't meat lol. I think you meant you stay away beef and pork for the most part.

But I eat chicken on a regular basis. Can't eat enough of it actually. Then I wrap bacon around the chicken and bake it and that's a real nice delicacy.
