(our 2nd... the first went quite well, but it was just coffee...)

So I call her to tell her I'm gonna pick her up at given time... she asks, "where are we going?"

Now, I'm known by some here to be overanalytical, but is this a bad sign? Because I'm not going, of course, to take her to McDonald's or the town pizzeria or to take-out Chinese.

Nonetheless, is this in any way a dangerous sign? Or am I just overreacting?

Yes, you're overreacting, as usually! People do all kinds of strange dates and she needs to know where you're going in order to dress accordingly. What if you were creative and decided to take her rock-climbing?! Even putting such extremes aside, people dress differently if they're going to a high-end restaurant. And she doesn't know you're not taking her to Mikey D's, either.

It's not a bad sign. I would have asked the same thing - mostly so I would know what to wear! I only like being surprised to a certain degree....being prepared is much better.

This is a reasonable and intelligent question. Quite simply one's attire would be different for a picnic in a park vs going dancing.

Overreacting on your part? YES!!

I say, yes. You are overreacting, just because she ask you "where are we going?"
Thats when you come back and say,"Wherever you wanna go!"

If he is worried about this aspect of the comment, then yeah...I can see why he is overreacting! If this is the case...then this may very well be the last date. Mcdonalds?

Sheesh, I think a good 1/2 of the male posters here do! And I'm willing to bet it's those who have nothing to be dug!
