My man and I could pass for brother and sister that's how much we resemble each other. I've often seen other couples as well who greatly resemble each other. There was a study done also that said people genuinely are attracted to people who look like them because that person is more likely to share their personality and traits.

No, but I'm afraid I'm starting to look like our dog!

Not at all. My husband is blond with blue eyes, I have dark brown/auburn hair and brown eyes. I think we are the same level of attractiveness though.

This reminded me of the Seinfeld episode The Cartoon - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia where George dates a girl that looks like Jerry.

NOPE, we look nothing alike.

I'm in better shape than he is. He hasn't worked out in the last 8 years now!! I couldn't go a week without working out! LOL! He hates the sun, while I love the sun. He hates going out, while I do sometimes (but I don't drink anymore, so now he trusts me better now).

But he does remind me of my father. Always taking care of the house, dresses nice before leaving the house for anything (shirt tucked in always), and is nice and funny around strangers. But I've heard, that most women pick their mates that resemble (personality wise or looks) like their fathers. I guess I did that! LOL!

Yes, we do vaguely look alike!
  • My grandfather says that my husband resembles his father (my great-grandfather) when he was young. Similar bone structure, dark eyes and ears. What's weird is that I've seen pictures of my husband's grandfather when he was in his 20s, and my husband is the spitting image of him, too.
  • We were napping together once and I opened my eyes to see his sleeping face. Due to the angle or whatever, he looked just like my dad when he was that age! That creeped me the heck out, and I poked him until he changed positions and I didn't see my dad's face anymore.
  • A few people have assumed we're brother and sister instead of husband and wife. I look more like him than two of his sisters, who are blonde and blue-eyed.
