Okay, now if someone can explain why I can't fall asleep after sex? It doesn't matter if the sex is 5 minutes (don't front you know you've blown your load too soon before) or 45 minutes I'm wide awake for a couple hours afterwards.

Perhaps it's because you feel guilty for not channeling your "inner romantic"! j/k

Do you work out regularly? Maybe it acts like that to you; working out gives you energy, makes you more alert, alive, which is why I can't work out too close to bed time, it wakes me up. Could be what's going on with you.

Interesting point, I do try to get 2-3 workouts per week. This has been happening as long as I can remember. Sex in the morning? Not sleepy. Sex in the afternoon? Nope, still not sleepy. Sex at night? Taking a nap at lunch the next day from the sleep I lost.

In my inner circle of friends 45yrs old+ a common thread is their husbands want sex in the mornings. My dh knows better than to wake me up at 6AM when he wakes up for sex I am assuming their husbands must be suffereing from ED?? Seems I had read as men get older the sex is better earlier in the day. Is this a myth or real? As a nurse I never read this when studying the psychology of men & women.
God gave man enough blood, to power a penis, or a Brain.. NOT BOTH
so during sex the man is oxygen starved, and passes out from lack or oxygen / blood to the brain
(that also explains, why during sex most men will either just grunt or use two words like "oh baby")
After sex, as the blood / oxygen flow returns, they pass out from the shortage of blood / Oxygen in the brain, this also is the major reason men
1) forget the woman's name
2) forgets to cuddle and just passes out
3) forgets that now its "HER TURN"
4) seeks liquid to replenish the loss of fluids.
This is based on YEARS of personal scientific data, done in my own lab.
