I wish it was more socially acceptable for females to ask males out.

If you want a guy just go talk to him and ask him out. If he is shy, its even better for you many of the shy persons I know hate making the first move.
The girl that invited me offered to go for a coffee (not Starbucks - she was more original). And she was so nice that she even Paid me a coffee soup that she wanted me to try it out and tell her what I thought about it. We quickly discovered we were Coffee maniacs.
Coffee soup 5/5 ( 20% coffee, 80% milk)

Yeah I asked guys out in the past. They actually liked it. Took the edge off of them. I even asked my prom date out. My son's father. I have no problem planing things. I do it all the time between juggling my schedule and my son's.

Really you don't like ladies who ask you out? Too bold?
I may or may not go for it. My family says he is single yet he wears rings? I don't know if its a sport ring? Or College one? Or something just guys wear? I want to get a better look at his hand. I don't want to look dumb asking him out and say, "Um, I'm married"

I wear rings on my left finger, can't go by that.
I think you will find most guys like a woman to ask them out...wouldn't worry about my opinion. The only analogy I can come up with; is I'd rather hunt than be fed.

Don't you think it's kind of childish though? It's like high-school? lol

As unusual as it is, I think most are like you in this department. I've taken initiative and probably will do it again, but the odds of it working out are about 50/50.

Yeah most guys are shocked when I did it in the past. It is a adrenaline rush with fear mixed.

Yeah it takes the job away from them. But I do understand my guy friends say they rather choose the girl whom they want. Yet they are single....hmmm.

In situations like this...it's easier to be rejected than to reject someone. You should see how many magazines and coupon books I have, because I can't tell little kids at my door, no.

I think I will. Thank gawd I love jewelry and will strike up a conversation about his rings. Get to the bottom of that conundrum.
