Default Longest amount of time in between relationships??

Almost 6 years in my late 20's. My average is usually around two years, for some reason.

5 months, between my 1st and 2nd boyfriends during my sophomore year of high school, lol. I was bad at being single, apparently.

What is the definition of a "relationship" anymore? Is that just up to individual people now. I've been in relationships with people and didn't even know it. One woman even told me 3 dates = relationship.

This will be the longest as of now: one year and one month. Sad, huh? I've been married most of my adult life, though.

I took a year off from dating entirely. It was my "Year Without Men." It was fun. I traveled with my chick buddies, had season tickets to my favorite team, and just had fun.

Then, after the year was up, I married the first person I had a relationship with.

So don't use me as an example because that didn't work out.

A year and 3 months after I left my ex husband.

Anyway, I've been "in between relationships" now since February, when a LTR/LDR relationship ended. Not sure I'm ready to get back into one, yet, though. Still kinda stings.

im at about 7 years. my last relationship was a bad one. really bad. and after that i just stopped putting myself out there because i was a bit messed up, and had some trust issues. but im trying to ease back into it. before that though i had three long term relationships. and each of them only had a few months in between. there was like 8 years straight where i was almost always in a relationship.

About two months. Six weeks? Okay, at least a month.

My average seems to be 4 years. It's been 3 years since my last relationship so I guess I've still got a year to go. LOL
