I'm just tired of hearing stories like the one about Mr. Cat's friend. It's too common, it's too much a blame game, and as I've been there myself, I can very easily see how exhausted and exasperated a wife can be. It goes back to that thread about the woman who "doesn't do those housewife things." When men are single, they have to cook and clean for themselves, but far too many of them stop doing so once they get married, figuring that's the wife's job. Nope, not if a woman doesn't explicitly agree to that, it's not. Far too many men dump all of that on their wives and then wonder why they don't get laid. Well, that's why.
No. After I was married, I was still having sex every night. Nothing really changed except the legal status.
So did my ex and I- all this twice a week stuff makes me feel sorry for those who have to put up with that. We had a child also, and that didn't slow us down much.
Pain during sex and/or lack of libido can happen to any female. Both stop sex from happening.
Jobs, kids, stress, may or may not be in the picture. They might be handy excuses though.
Maybe that can be one of the many reasons why some guys don't want to marry their girl or have kids. Among risks of divorce and being raped by the law, loss of freedom, can't hang out with their buddies as much, and so on, there is a big possibility that sex will decrease. When going out, there is no such thing as kids, housechore dramas, etc. So the sex may happen more often I suppose.

I did a few years as 'mister mom' [cooking, cleaning, laundry, children to school, after-school, doctor's apts, ...]
Some of us men do the domestic duties.
Single 'freedoms' go away when you take on the responsibility of career and children, it happens both for male and female.
I have never honestly 'hung-out' with buddies. Not in highschool [I worked] and not afterwards.
I have to agree with the other women. If your guy does his share of the work load so that you are not tired and resentful, he will get all the nookie he can stand. If a man is not willing to make the effort he shouldnt whine about not getting sex.

First an exam to rule out any medical condition. If everything is ok, my recommendations would be do what is necessary to take the pressure off him, a nice back rub to help him relax, maybe a lap dance, then get out your ......... and masturbate in front of him. Fortunately, this has not been the case with me and my little wifey. We've been very consistent over the course of our marriage without any major interruptions. Two young children have not stopped us at all. We believe it's all about balance.
