I went on a date with a guy claiming to be divorced. It was not until the end of the date that I realized he had a wedding like ring on his right hand. When asked straight out, he said yes that is the way they do it in Romania. (I think it was Romania.)

In the Asian culture, the right hand ring on the third finger means they are married.
