As for this thread being in the relationships forum part, well I posted it there at first but it was deleted. Talked to the mod about it who told me I could post it here.
As for it being stupid, not really, I have a reason for posting it because I want to get a general idea of how interracial dating is like with Indian men in the US, if you don't like it, don't comment and there are many other threads on the page you can post on.
Also, yea see here is my problem, I like White girls as friends but I was never really attracted to them. I am more into Latinas and Indian girls but the Indian girls here in the US are too restrictive, they don't even kiss you or anything before marriage and I am not really fond of the Indian culture.
I wanted to know how rare an Indian guy - Latina pairing is in the US or if it even exists.
One of my closest friends is Indian- I've only seen him with two girls, both of them being Latina.
I accidentally voted East Asian though.
Looks like I need to move to Jersey.
Also we do have Latinas in my area but just not that many, the ones we do have of my age group are all Puerto Ricans, usually hang with Blacks and in some cases Hispanics. Most are a bit "urban" as my friend says in their attitude, asked one out and I ended up being cussed out because of it. A lot of my Latin friends online and the three I know in real life tell me to keep away from Puerto Rican girls for some odd reason......

As an Asian Indian, I can say that I am not fond of it at all either. Its to cliquish for me. And far to dramatic. I only have 2 Indian friends now (and like me, we grew up never associating much with Indian people due to drama reasons), had more before, but was never close to them. College started 2 years ago, and I never spoke to them again, never had a reason too either.

Thats not true at all. Maybe some, but not all. I have found majority to be closet freaks

Yea, see I dated a White girl before but I received a lot of looks and even a lot of verbal jabs down here for it. I was not really attracted to White girls (not attracted to them now either) but I thought aww heck why not. As for the light skin part, my girlfriend's parents first thought I was White, so odd but they thought I was White which kind of makes me laugh now.
Anyways I am not using this thread to tell stories, I am using it to get a general idea, hopefully get more participation in the polls.

You'll be fine in any major city regardless of what race, color, ethnicity. I am sure of that, any diverse city should be fine.

Ah okay, well how tough of a time would I have in getting with a Hispanic girl though? Where I live we have some but they are all Puerto Rican and "urban" as my friend says.
My experiences are limited so that is why I am asking.
Interesting comments.....In my area, most tend to stay to themselves, but it seems like it comes down to being "Americanized". Meaning, those that are Americanized tend to branch out in terms of dating. I've seen Indian guys date and even marry White women here. Some date East Asian women too. Much of the Indian/South Asian presence is due to Syracuse University and many live in surrounding neighborhoods.
I do notice that those of South Asian descent for the Caribbean tend to date Blacks and Hispanics, if they do date outside of their background. Schenectady is known for it's Guyanese population that is both Black and South Asian. So, that might be a place where you see South Asians date or marry outside of their race/ethnicity, as it is a pretty diverse city too.

^ You won't have a problem in any of those cities/metro areas if the Hispanic crowd is what you're looking to be near.
Miami, Los Angeles, New York City, Houston, Las Vegas, Phoenix, San Diego, & Dallas-Fort Worth is where you would find it the easiest to be honest. But it can happen anywhere, but those cities are the most diverse ethnically, and also have a good size Hispanic population.
And as far as a tough time goes, that solely depends on you, on how open you can be to them and things of that nature. If you're an open and decent person, you really shouldn't have anything to worry about.
