I'm so sorry for your loss Cheri. I have several siblings and I don't call them nearly as much as I should. Your post really put things into perspective.

It may sound petty to some, but something struck me as odd in your thread... Granted, you said your brother passed away the night before you happened to call, but how come nobody let you know immediately...? After all, you're one of his closest relatives.

To me your question is petty but thank you anyway.I know about his passing and that's all that matters to me.It doesn't matter to me if I was notified right away or not.
For your info his wife and also my favorite sis-in-law was very upset and rightfully so which I could tell while talking to her on the phone.She was about to call me as I called her.When something like this happens you're in total shock as she was cause he had a heart attack and died so suddenly.
