I'm whipped. I stayed home today - part mental health day and part didn't-get enough-sleep-and-felt-like-shyt day. The plan was to sleep late, lounge on the sofa and generally be lazy and get plenty of rest. I don't know why I still even bother to think that I will actually NOT do anything for a day. I went to the library, the post office, Michaels, Office Max, Target, Dollar Tree, and 2 grocery stores, put out more grass seed in the bare spots, washed 2 loads of clothes, made my son dinner (he ate an ENTIRE Hamburger Helper meal...the whole damn thing), finished up my snake wreath (a Halloween decoration) and then made some treats for my son's class tomorrow (he signed me up - let me know this last night )

Now I'm ready for bed. Phooey.

Wow, I have to say that even though I'm still not impressed with Windows 7 and the LCD monitor (ol' dog; new tricks...), the computer rocks! You can have youtube, amazon, overstock, and any number of other heavy sites open and they don't make a dent! I guess it wasn't cox's fault my experiences for quite some weren't all that stellar.

This may cure me from hanging out too much here, but "home" is always open.

Every time I plan a day like this my quilt complex kicks in. I can hear that little voice telling me to stop goofing off & be productive. That little voice sometimes sounds like my wife.

didn't-get enough-sleep..... Yeah right, we all read your posts about the great nights with your SO.

Americans! I can easily have such a day, even with the lack of gloom here!

Now, now...the SO was not here last night. He's only here during the week on Wednesday nights.

Really it was too hot, and my stomach just felt...yucky. Heck I woke up exhausted. I agree though...I think it's a guilt thing. Sucks.

That I know. I was asking about a day at home meant for getting stuff done as opposed to "rest."
