I'll be lying if I say no. Preference is 5'9. I used to like guys who are 5'10-6'0, but now I can say that I will date a guy who is as "short" as 5'6. I'm still working on guys who is 5'5 or under but time will tell.

Really? What you are afraid she is going to get hit by a low branch before you?

I'm thinking that generally, women prefer tall men, and the average man prefers a short(petite) woman. I think kinda because women want a protector and men want to be dominant.

'Course, I always reserve the right to be wrong.

I do think this is the norm, but not always.

I do have a preference for women who are above average in height, but I am more than willing to date short women.

Yup, it matters. I am somewhere around 5'3 or 5'4 and I like men that are 5'10 or taller.

If I were single, it wouldn't be a deal breaker, but it is a preference.

To MOST women, at least initially upon meeting a man, height does matter! Studies do prove this.

Just the way it is, hon. I'll date a girl that's 4'10" before someone that's 5'10".
