I hear ya on this - too bad most of the very tall men that tall women want/need are often taken by very small women who are IMHO just being greedy. If I was 5'3" I would be perfectly happy with a man between 5'6" and 5'9" [if I were 5' I would be happy with a man 5'3" - 5'6", etc...]. In fact, I would actually find a man over 6' to be somewhat intimidating.

When I was 5'6, I was with a woman who is 5'10 for two years. She made is very clear that her preference was 6'2 and taller and we broke up because she had to move. LOL..... I'd bet a million dollars that you sure wouldn't! You're only saying this because of your CURRENT PERSPECTIVE. I'd bet every one of Bill Gate's dollars that if you were 5'3, you'd be completely ignoring men in that 5'6/5'7 bracket......... If 5'1, I'd bet the U.S. Debt Ceiling that you would not be checking for ANY man who was 5'3 lol.
