You don't like confidence, or you don't like the spiel?

This site isnt as bad but if you go around the internet the hating on shorter Men is almost millitant from women
Not just they dont find them attratcive but they seem to think every shortguy is a angry bitter sociopath..
Maybe this is one of the reasons for the lack of women being into shorter Men ?
They all think short guys are angry at the world and tall guys are just calm cool and in control?
its weird and i never really noticed that big a deal with height till i went on the internet..If you just go by that Short Men seem to be despised more then any race or gender..

I don't like attempts at shaming me into liking what I don't like by means of worthless PC and/or affirmative action. It's a futile albeit mildly irritating exercise anyway - I'll never apologize for my preferences as I don't feel the need to justify them as some evidently do!

What a tired topic.
Again, good guys come in all heights. Height has nothing to do with someone's character or confidence level.

Try telling that to the majority of women who only feel feminine being a half a foot to foot smaller then their man..

The post I was discussing above was talking about the "confidence" of the woman, not the man.

Now she is seeing someone who she really likes (I do too ) that is 5'9" and her friends are giving her grief! I was listening to them discussing how even though the new bf is hot, he is "short". I thought 5'9" was the national average for men. Later she said it really bothers her now because of her girl friends feedback. So my question is...Is height really that important??? Discuss..

Have your daughter tell her little girlfriends that she is the one dating this guy and she likes being around him. If they like taller guys then they should date taller guys. As for her man he is taken and they don't have to worry about dating him. I mean why does it matter who she dates? will it effect who they choose to date?
I for one love shorter girls. I am 5' 6" and my wife is 5' even.

I am the OP and my daughter is thrilled with her new bf. Apparent;y after her girlfriends , the ones who thought he was too short at 5'9ish now think he is hot and so funny. Guess humor, intellect and good looks win over the height issue. I think my daughter now realizes which of her friends is superficial now. I never notice height and I am 5'8" tall. If someone is interesting to talk to and keeps my attention, I usually am not aware of height. BTW what is considered a too short man or a too short woman or for that matter a too tall man or too tall woman? I have noted in the past that some tall girls do get shunned. I had a stunning friend in HS who was 5'10" and never had a date but now she can pick & choose. Her face has been in magazines and she has had the company of celebrities. I guess we all eventually find our niche.
