Throughout my 50s I was a lovin machine -- a few times times each day when I had a willing partner (late wife and then various after her death), although my late wife and I were down to 5-7 times per week when she died at age 51 (me 50). My current wife moved in when I was 54 and it was all up to her. (She's 10 years younger.) Soon it was down to a couple times each week, and now... I'm not the horndog I was in my 40s-50s, but at 72 I'd still be very happy and able to enjoy sex every day or two. Unfortunately, her sex drive departed with menopause. She's afraid to try hormone treatment for it, and since my late wife died shortly after starting hormones, I can't encourage it. At my age, I'm once again adapting to basically a sexless marriage.
