Isn't it weird how something obscure will surface in your consciousness--something you haven't thought about in years--and then you'll see or hear it a bunch of times? Here's an example. Somebody on CD mentioned Cyndi Lauper's "She Bop" the other day and how it's about masturbation. I had no idea. I hadn't heard or thought about the song in a long time. And then yesterday, the man and I were watching Californication, and David Duchovny said something about the song too, also in reference to masturbation. Was I the only person who didn't know this? Well, my husband and I make two. I guess that's why we're made for one another. That song was on some Tipper Gore ban list and everything.

Although ... now "I better stop or I'll go blind" makes sense now.

Well, I don't believe this song was originally meant to be about stalking, either.
