You are never too old to date college girls IMO. As the saying goes:"you can always teach an old dog new tricks." And another thing I'll mention is this: especially if you have looks like former NHL hockey star Sergei Federov. He just turned 42 in December and he's still in great shape and still playing a rough sport. I'm a guy and I say this. You're never too old.

I'm pretty sure the OP is asking when it's no longer acceptable in society's eyes, and with that being the case, a 40+ year old man dating an 18-19 chick would generally not be deemed as acceptable by the masses.

Sure, anyone can mentally/physically date anyone (sure, a 98 yr old can date an 18 yr old), but whether or not it's viewed as acceptable is another issue.

Jonathan LB--regarding the wikibooks link, I don't think i meet any of the "qualifications" for alpha male cited in there. jeez, i must be genetically inferior, a someone who should never have been born

when i read things like that i figure every woman wants an alpha male what positive role could i ever play in a woman's life...

By the time I was 30, I couldn't stand to socially be around traditional college-age "kids." When I was a kid, I generally liked to hang around people my own age, slightly older, or pester adults with all kinds of questions. I've already answered that one should "pass" on college age girls after graduating and being in the work force for almost a handful of years because there is already a lack of common ground. My 2 cents.

I'm 29 and I'm a full time college student. Am I not supposed to be looking at women who are doing the same thing with their life I'm doing right now? I can't relate to someone who works minimum wage and didn't go back to school. I can't relate to someone who already has their career. I can relate to a 19 year old college girl who knows her major and has goals for the future.

No set expiration date. You'll know it when it happens. I'm 34 and generally cant stand anyone in their early 20's any more. Such idiots.

Yeah, I can't hang out with young guys, too much of an age gap. I'm 46, which is getting up there, at least comparing to a 25 yr old guy.

How in the nine frozen hells do people find four year old threads (actually, six from the very beginning, this was already necroed once) to post on??

Maybe that should be a thread all its own.

I get that sometimes people do searches but given the frequency of "OMG I reeeeeeeeeeeeealy wanna tap something way younger than myself, can you strangers on the internet tell me it's okay?" threads on here, I would have to think this one took not only some searching but a good deal of scrolling...

It's kinda mystifying.
