People who do not understand that Ketchup or Hot Sauce can go on just about any food.

Stuffed shirts! You don't like how I eat my sushi; you shove your hot dog where it doesn't shine!

Aside from everything listed....

People who put their face close to their plate and stare into it while gluttonously shoveling the food into their mouth so fast they hardly have time to chew--then they finish early, put their elbows on the table and stare at you while you eat.
Taking two or more bites at a time before chewing.
Taking a bite and a swig of something to drink before they chew or swallow their food.
Shoving the food around on their plate and incessantly tapping it with the fork.
Picking from someone else's plate without asking--sometimes even with asking.

I'm sure I have more. I'm so neurotic about bad table manners.

This thread makes me realize that one of my pet peeves about people eating is when they try too hard to not do any of the things listed and look all stiff and uncomfortable, knowing that they really want to do all of these things listed, lol. I love the people that really want to throw down on their fried chicken, but you can tell that they are trying hard not to look greedy and that this is their first time ever eating without looking sloppy. Not saying that I would like to see people do the things listed, but it is just as worse being at the table with people that are too rigid and proper. I don't like most of the things most people listed. LOL I notice stuff like that when I am eating. The worst for me is "smacking," people who eat with food in their mouth and smoking at the table.

I hate to see people wasting food, or talking to me while I eat.

My biggest pet peeve by far is slirping, like when eating cereal or soup. I can't stand the sound. Another one is making grunt sounds, usually this behavior is from an obese person.

There are a few I can tolerate but my biggest 2 pet peeves are.. chewing with mouth open and making sounds when eating i.e., you sound like a cow chewing cud whilst eating... not cool. I have other ones like the way people hold their forks, (caveman style, lol) and others... but those two are my biggest ones I can't tolerate and have to say something LOL

I don't have any such eating pet peeves.

Except that I get really annoyed to see fatties in the office cafe swarming around French fries, desserts and pizzas. I truly wanna tell them, "you don't need that, you're porked enough already"

But chances are that I will get lynched on the tree by the fountain outside LMAO.
