I actually used to take Ambien for a short time - until I realized I'm one of those people who do things in their sleep, like send out gibberish emails, or forum posts. I did that once on my own forum, and got a few worried voicemails the next day. Had to go back and see what I'd posted, and even I didn't know what I was saying! I was asleep! Although I was able to say something about making a "big decision" (I'd decided to get a divorce, but hadn't intended to go public with that, just yet. Oops. At least I didn't say WHAT big decision, so I could make something up.)
I don't take Ambien anymore. Apparently people with a tendency to walk/talk in their sleep are prone to do this on that drug. That's me!
