Thanks for the advice and kind words everyone. I've been thinking that some child care help and a way to get her back into the "real world" would be beneficial to her mentally and emotionally. It comes down to a matter of finances though... I will look into some options.
Our oldest does go to pre-school three days a week in mornings. It's a program for special needs kids, and she ends up being smarter than most of the other kids. She has met some other moms, but they tend to be older most of the time.
As for family, neither of us have much in the area. Her parents live overseas for her Dad's job, and my parents live 14 hours away in Maine. She does have grandparents, but they are 45 mins away and getting on in years.
