I hope she finds a man like this knightly gentleman.

I couldn't make it all the way through the story without getting some watery stuff in my eye. I don't think anyone with an ounce of humanity can read this without getting emotional.

I wasn't sure where to post this, btw. I thought about 'Health and Welless' because a disease plays a big part, or 'Parenting' because of the impact on the kids' families, but the beautiful relationship between these two kids makes it in my opinion most fitting within this section.

I read this article this morning...this young man's parents must be proud to have raised such a compassionate gentleman.

Thanks for sharing. That story is both heartwrenching and awe-inspiring.

I've read too many sad stories today. That poor girl what a kind young man though. It takes a lot of strength for someone to go through an illness like that, and it takes a lot of strength to never lose hope when someone you love is going through that.

Reading this story reminded me of a touching movie about a girl with a similar terminal disease. Very warming story.

It is an amazing story! However, call me cynical if you wish, but I did notice something:

There was something about Sabrina — a feistiness, a spark in her eye — that reminded him of his grandmother.

It's possible that his behavior didn't have as much to do with his ability to love in general as it did with this particular girl.
