Ok, had to pee, so made it down the hallway, can't put any weight on the one ankle, and the other ankle isn't so great. I started blacking out and had to sit down in the hallway. Getting up was not easy!!!! I did manage to use the bathroom, wash my hands, got that tunnel vision, again, and now I'm back on my bed.
Right now it doesn't really hurt, except when I'm up (duh). I guess it's the aleve and ice. The abrasions and cuts sting, though. Cleaning those out was a *****!!!
I'm worried that you're blacking out from this - are you sure you don't want to go to the ER?

I think it's just a psychological thing. I didn't hit my head or anything. It just feels... weird trying to get around. When I fell I remember (slow motion, of course) hearing my ankle make crunching noises, and that's what I keep thinking of. I was shaking really hard for a while, but that's calmed down, some.
I agree, especially since she says she's alone with her son.
James is playing "doctor". He's got his cellphone with him, and told me to call him if I need anything. He's downstairs, right now. He just doesn't want to look at the other leg. Blood grosses him out!

Yeah, they'll be back. My son and I live with them. My father's out for - not sure, really - and my mother is at Shenanigans, so she should be home around 9 or so.
But I'm okay, guys. I didn't bang my head or anything like that, it's just my legs. I appreciate the concern, though.

Just so you know - ice doesn't help a fracture or a break.
I don't mean to be a Jewish momma here, but think about visiting your doc, shaved or not...please?

Well crunching noises is beyond psychological. You really need to get this checked out.
I'm glad to know that you at least live with your parents and that they'll be home later.
I will, I just can't go right now. If it's broken, it will still be broken tomorrow. Ditto for a sprain. I'm lying down, and not in any pain right now, so it's not that "urgent". If I'd hit my head or something, it would be a different story.
And I'm not an idiot. =P
