Hawk, those pictures are wonderful. Remind me of some good old days we spent in Oahu...I got engaged there.
Congratulations sweetie

When i served in our U.S. Navy we spent quite a bit of time on Oahu, moored in Pearl Harbor.

When we got liberty often we partied on Fort DeRussy & Waikiki beach. Spent many nights under the Palm trees.

Did some surfing & snorkeling. So much beauty there.

I absolutely fell in love with Hawaii. I think the problem with some people is that they expect it to be like Carribbean with the white sand and turquoise ocean and they get disappointed when they don't get that as much. The beauty of Hawaii are the volcanoes, exotic plants, trees, flowers and birds that you don't see on main land, waterfalls etc...

And Kona coffee...yum!!!

Man, 2011, is here.......

Time is flying....I remember graduating HS in 87.

In one way it seems like a million miles ago... on the other hand..... it feels like yesterday.

I know, Chow, that's how the whole life flies... That's why I'm so worried that I still haven't figured out what I should be doing for the rest of my life, don't have the master plan as they say...Maybe I should just go with the flow, but the way the time just passes by is scary....

I enjoy to read in general, so I wouldn't mind some spiritual books recommendations...
