ETA: I just read your ETA. Yes, that is what I am trying to say.

Not quite. It sounds so simple but, yet, why isn't it so? The best explanations I am willing to come up with is that some need has not been met or she is just plain stupid.

I remember watching a program about popular night clubs in NYC. When a bouncer was asked what kind of girl he skips over, he said, the kind of girl who wears a miniskirt and it is freezing outside. My thought was, hmmm...., no guy in my hometown would pass up a girl like that but then the guys in my hometown complained that I was too brainy for them.

If it was met consciously but the behavior was still present than you get into subconscious behavior choices. Now are these innate or learned?
It is learned but then what do I know? I know this. I was not treated respectfully by my family. To be honest, I had no idea what respect was nor did I know when I was truly being treated with respect. Once I landed myself a nice boyfriend. I am Hispanic and he was White which was a BIG deal at that time especially because I came from a very poor area and he lived on the beach which was considered well off.

Anyway, I didn't know what to think. He tried being a good boyfriend but I blew him off because I wasn't used to the treatment. He broke up with me (good for him) and I hooked up with a real jerk that I was "happy" with because, hey, he thought I was hot and didn't care what I wore as long as I looked hot.

Anyway, the point is, just because she had an admiring guy, doesn't mean he admires her for the right reasons.

As for the need to get attention being stronger than the need to get warm. Hard to say. Some peoples behavior leads them to destruction. So a persons wants can be stronger than their needs.
Couldn't agree with you more.

Yes, I would agree, women are the ones that usually create all the drama. Though, men can play at that game too.

Tell your boyfriend women are not the only authors of drama. Men can create drama by their actions and behavior as well.

yep. Love how males project that women create the drama.

IMO, people who are unhappy or bored create drama, regardless of gender.

Nah. I'd bet my money on attention-seeking.

Wait a minute.

Wouldn't that be ...

DRAMA???
