Valentines day?!

God, I've done some really good things for and to women on valentines day. Giving socks? That's like a whole new low.

I would have in your shoes!

That's valentines day! Had I been in your shoes I would have said that's what he was going to use on himself later unless he does something romantic LOL.

One year for my birthday, my husband gave me Tips and Tricks for Word 6.0 . . . in softcover. When I unwrapped the book, my face fell. As tactfully as possible I asked him, "What inspired you to get this for me?" and he replied "You have a new Word program, so I thought you could use this." It made perfect sense to him. Gee, thanks, honey! I never opened the book.

Our first Xmas together at his family's house, he had no present waiting for me. Instead he had a strange card and inside was a picture of a car stereo. He decided to get me a car stereo...eventually...when he managed to save some money.

I didn't need or want a car stereo. I remember feeling so disappointed that morning. I don't even think he purchased the card for me...I think he had his brother or someone pick it up.

I remember many a Christmas eve when my brothers would throw money at me and tell me to "get a present for a girl." it was Christmas eve, I had to work a full day and then go shopping for some bimbo they were dating??? I finally got smart and just used the money and bought roses. Those silly girls always thought it was from them and that they were so romantic. Yeah, right.

oh buzz off and go cry about your miserable life elsewhere. I'm probably the most pro-women male poster in this forum..but of course folks like you with your bitterness only read what you want to read. We had a difference of opinion on a topic (something about children)...get over it and stop acting like a toddler or better yet, if my posts bother you that much, please add me to your ignore list. I believe there is a feature like that available to members
