I think opinions often vary on whether or not this is cheating based on what type of club this is, and what part of the country the poster is from. Some states consider ANY touching at all prostitution by law. Others, there's the rule where the dancer is a few feet away. Others still where the guy can't touch the dancer, but the dancers can and do touch the guys. (I mean, what's the difference between touching and paying someone to touch you??) Different people have different boundaries and consider some things cheating, while giving a pass on others. When it comes down to it, you and your partner should be on the same page. If you have to lie about it, then duh, you shouldn't be doing it. If your partner knows how you feel about this stuff, then crosses your boundaries anyway- it's showing no respect for you.

Your generalizations about men and women are quite sweeping...
Personally, I have never been to a strip club and have no intention on ever doing so...I would be intrigued by the notion of one of those classic style Burlesque sh0ws, but that's more for my love of historical entertainment and not just to drool at women. Also, a Burlesque show involves actual dancing and the women are on stage, far away from the men.
While not cheating, I would consider going to a modern strip club a to be unacceptable for either party involved. If you have your lover at home to get you hot, why go to see a stanger to do so?
That includes bachelor/bachlerortte parties. Sorry, if I was going to be wed in a few days I would much rather go to a rock concert with the "boys" than get drunk and drool over some scantily woman who no doubt has more issues than Sports Illustrated.
