*sigh* I miss perky! Breastfeeding does terrible things to their perkiness...but then, that's why God created underwires hehehehe
& for those of you wishing for Cs & Ds...you still can't wear shirts properly...they all gap at the chest, or pull...unless you get a bigger sized shirt, then the rest of you looks bigger than you really are...also, all the cute little demi bras are made for A/B cups. Sometimes you can luck out with a C, but D cups are pretty much S.O.L. for anything that doesn't look like a granny bra...
Oh, & I do prefer "real" but I'm a girl, so it doesn't count...& the only reason for the preference is because of the preponderance of women who feel the need to go from AA to DDD & end up with really fake looking boobs. If I can look at you & not immediately tell they're fake, then that's ok. I don't like the 6 inch gap between boobs, or if you can see ribs in between the boobs, that's kinda weird to me.

For many years I've regarded that a preoccupation with the size of boobs is basically for blue collar men...and women. What kind of people frequent restaurants with names like Hooters?
It's not the size, or shape, but the importance our society attaches to boobs. It's obviously some sort of status symbol. Some people have status symbols, but don't know what to do with them.
Being an artist I've seen many and appreciate the variety. If all boobs were the kind that magazine fold-out models display, it would be a boring world. It would remove the excitement of seduction.
This whole post has caused me to come up with many questions...I just wonder how much does an average boob enlargement cost? Are reductions in size cheaper? What about the scars, are they easily visible? As for the decision to enlarge the breasts, was your husband/boyfriend a major influence? Do women judge each other by the size of their boobs? Couldn't you think of a better way to spend your money?

I can only answer for me but the cost runs between $3-7grand. The breast reduction is much more expensive, but insurance can cover it. The scars fade, I can't see mine anymore. The decision? That's a little personal but I was not in a relationship with anyone. To be honest I think my husband would have tried to tell me not to get them. Women talk about boobs all the time. I've noticed the only one's who feel uncomfortable talking about them are the ones with severely undersized or oversized boobs. Could I think of a better way to spend my money? Probably, but I'd do it again. You forgot to ask about the pain. Yes it's very painful.
That's it folks. I'm done being this open with strangers, even some of my friends don't know that I have them.

As I sit here, rapidly aging and aching, I wonder what happens when the boob jobbers do when they reach my age. I was a normal C cup, a few extra middle age pounds and now it's a D. But time has taken it's toll. I sag.
So I sit here in my heavy duty, industrial strenght bra with the wide straps digging into my shoulders. I want to rip the cursed thing off. Then they will droop down, until I feel I should hold them up when I walk. And please don't make me have to answer the door, but I will be more comfortable, besides, my clothes don't fit anywhere, anyway and I already caught me a man.
I guess the false ones would sag too. That's too much like shooting your self in the foot.

I have to be frank, as a woman my only concern is my own comfort. I have three compressed verte brae in my upper back, I would LOVE to get rid of my DD breasts.
I want them so small that I don't have to wear a bra, just tank tops with the built in support...anything to allow me to feel less restricted.

I believe they usually do that yes. And my impression is sensitivity should return, but of course it depends on the person.

Oh I'll answer because I don't feel like your attacking.
No, just when getting reduced! They just cut underneath right where an underwire bra goes and I hear people can even get them through the belly button now!
And I've got full feeling in mine, but I've heard you can have nerve damage.
