My husband is a skinny guy but I certainly can't say I prefer skinny guys. I'm attracted to more than one kind of body... If someone's attractive, then he just is... I can like a fatty if he looks right--I can't really describe what I mean, sorry. Proportion is quite important; I can't stand a guy with a big belly and little stick legs. As long as he's got "thickness" throughout the rest of his body he'll look good.

The guy doesn't need to be "ripped" but he's got to have a decent body. I don't like men with big guts or beer bellies.. that's just such a turn off.... sorry!!! I'm aware I'm also not everyones cup of tea too LOL Just my own personal preference.

I like guys with a little chub. I think it's because my marriage was best when my husband was a little chubby and another guy I dated and loved was a little chubby.

Now my marriage is dead and my husband works out 24/7 to be a hard body and is very mean and narcissistic and critical of my NOT being that way so I'm not a fan of the "super fit" mindset. Probably my way of rebelling. Hahha. And I have never like skinny guys with those tiny butts...eww.

I prefer a substantial man. Not necessarily fat but not skinny. I don't like bird legs much.

Of course, personality overrules physical characteristics. If you intrigue my brain, the rest will follow.

The OP probably should have asked this on some gay website. As others have said, I think straight women and gay men would have quite the differing views on what they find attractive. That is, unless the op (who seems to be quite young) is still in the "Im curious" or "Im not really sure of my sexuality" stage and wants to know what women think about things.

I showed this to the wife and she answered "NEITHER", but did say that she would prefer a healthy/fit/athletic skinny guy over a chubby guy. She says flat stomach, no spare tires and muscular neck is always preferable and that if a guy has those things, from a purely physical standpoint, it doesnt matter what else is going on physically with him.

My BIL is gay and I think his partner is very handsome, he's somebody I would take note of in a restaurant/bar. I think he may be referred to as a muscle bear. Like my BIL, you wouldn't know he was gay unless he told you. But I digress...

All things being equal, I'd prefer a chubby guy.

i was waiting for an answer like this! i experienced the same thing i was in a relationship with a guy who was slimmer than i am and he was very into himself, and felt the need to insult me everyday just because? i don't know. but that's another reason why i stick with chubby guys they tend to appreciate more and sometimes dont take things for granted.
