Does height really matters? I am 4 foot 10, I usually date men 6 feet and under.If someone who is more than 6 feet taller ask me out,I would refuse,although I went out with a guy over 6 when I was in high school
It was rather uncomfortable.
To the men : Do you mind being with a taller woman? Like Tom Cruise?
To the women: How would you feel being with a shorter man?

I am 5'6" and I have attempted to date shorter men in the past and honestly I just felt uncomfortable. I wear heels all the time so I'm REALLY tall compared to the guy if he starts off being shorter than me. Overall, I just like guys who are bigger than me--size and height. I prefer guys who are 6 ft tall and over but I could go as low as 5'9" because that is my height with heels on (he would have to be a someone stocky 5'9", though). I guess my rule is that if there is any doubt in my mind that I have the ability to kick my boyfriend's butt because of his small stature, I don't want to date him. Call me old-fashioned, I guess!

I like to be able to put my head next to his neck. That means about six inch difference in height. I dated a couple of extra tall ones. I didn't like it. Nothing seemed to meet up correctly. With one, my boobs were just above his belt buckle. I couldn't relax standing on tiptoe to kiss.

I think I would even prefer one shorter that I am to one much taller.

I am 5'2" so would be hard to find one that is much shorter. My husbad is 5'11" which I think is a pretty average height, and it's ok. I have thought once in awhile it might be nice to have someone silimar in height, but then he might have some self confidence issues.

Taller men! There's something about it that gives me a safe & secure feeling. I'm 5'6", my husband is 5'11" and I can stand next to him in heels and still be shorter. Plus my head fits right in the crook of his neck comfortably.

I had a crush on a guy once that was 6'8". I think I was attracted to his height, 'cuz he was as dumb as a rock. We went to a party once and attempted to dance (slow dance)... the belt buckle in the face was a turn off. He was too tall.

I am 6'5. Therefore, the question "do you mind being with a taller woman" has never presented itself and is unlikely to in the future unless I start spending my free time cruising around the WNBA locker rooms.

But theoretically, would I date someone taller than me? I would, but I would prefer someone shorter than me. For, um, logistical purposes, I prefer taller women, although truth be told, I think the tallest woman I ever dated was 5'8.
