CL is free and yes you pay a price - its unsecure and you also get spammed with junk email....there are people on CL who will just spam you and also there are some freaks on there remember there is no security because you never know who you might be dealing with.
People normally think twice if they have to provide real personal info and credit card info because that way if you try anything stupid - you will easily be located. |

I wrote to someone on craigslist because he had such an unusual ad but never met him--too far away--he was a good writer and although I knew I wouldn't meet him I wanted to tell him I liked his writing. I agree - it is mostly very strange scary people. There is a good movie-- 24 Hours On Craigslist. See it and you probably won't want to try it for meeting someone. |
